Bifrost: Chapter V

Bifrost: Chapter V

V - Blessed Sun

Caraxe Border

It was nightfall when they pressed on. Days turned to nearly a week as they began approaching the exit of the mountains. This time Aztrit hung back as Kirk and Eric rode in front of her through the mountain. Each horse and wagon stepped cautiously, falling rocks and uneven ground giving way as they crossed the Caraxe Pass. As the last obstacle between Vertan and the rest of the land, it had claimed many travellers.

Aztrit looked to the sky, its chopped clouds white and sections hiding the brief face of the full moon. She sighed, enjoying the cold breeze that drifted through the tall jagged mountains as she basked in the moon's light. She felt it was watching over her, motivating her to follow her heart and what she believed to be right instead of her father's will.

Crackling echoes shook her from her peace.

Everyone halted and looked at the mountain peaks, hoping to avoid a rockslide. As Aztrit saw a boulder dislodge and fall towards Kirk and Eric, she quickly readied her bow and set an arrow aflame.

She let it fly just as Kirk and Eric tried to move. The arrow hit the rock with an explosive force, shattering it into dust and pebbles.

Kirk looked to her in shock as Rúnar reared, frightened by the pebbles raining.

Aztrit smiled and lifted a brow, feeling smug.

Kirk called the caravan to continue, and sped up to Eric as the end was in sight, where fields of red flowers bloomed underneath the moon that began to streak red with the dawn.

Kirk fell back to her, trotting side by side as he eyed her bow. Was there anything she could not do?

“So, Odin is your father?” He wasn’t sure it was true when he had heard it from the other Valkyrie. Aztrit looked nothing like how the Allfather was described.

“There’s absolutely no resemblance if that’s what you’re curious about. Although I never knew her, I got my looks from my mother. She died after I was born.” She wasn’t sad saying it, She had never known her mother. But she did feel a sense of longing for her. She was taken by someone who only knew cruelty. “What about your parents?”

Kirk thought about his answer before he spoke. “My father raised me alone. My mother was…unfit for parenting.”

“I’m sorry to hear that. Although Eric told me you weren’t prone to seeking attention when you were young.”

“Aye? And what else did Eric tell you about me?” He smiled and watched her body shift as she rode.

“That even then you didn’t respect authority. Something along the lines of, you taught yourself to get whatever you wanted without asking for it.” She flashed him a grin as she said the last part, hoping it would spark desire in him.

Kirk returned her sultry words. “That is something I tend to do. I don't like to leave pretty things unclaimed. I’m very serious about taking what I want.”

She mimicked his words, “Oh, aye?” She was beginning to wish desperately that they would arrive soon. She needed to see if he would be just as passionate and dominating in bed as he was in person.

“Aye, Valkyrie.” Kirk needed to distract himself quickly. He had thought about how she might feel while she was away. He could only think about holding her by her hips and driving into her tight heat.

He had been so bitter while she was gone, even the air felt cleaner now that she was near and their hearts were growing closer.

He heard screeching and looked up into the night sky. Geese were beginning to pass overhead.

Kirk had a devious idea. He knew she enjoyed a challenge. “How good are you with a bow and arrow?”

Aztrit looked at what was in his line of sight and smiled. “Much better than you could ever be.” She nocked an arrow and let it fly. The first soared and hit the goose directly above him. The next three happened quickly as she loosed arrows in a rapid fire motion.

Kirk halted and pulled a bow and arrows from the side of his horse. He was impressed with her aim, and she was quick. But he knew he could do much better.

He nocked four arrows and aimed them high. As he took a deep breath, he released and watched as they arched in the air and hit four targets. He got off his horse and retrieved all eight geese, tied them up and got back on. “I should've warned you that I was the superior shot, Aztrit.”

She returned his smile and moved Fora on, “I was moving when I hit my targets. And let’s not forget who’s the superior warrior. Unless you want another gash.”

“That’s only if I let you get close to me again. But if you promise to heal me the way you did the first time, I accept.”

Aztrit felt her cheeks warm as she recalled kissing his hand; the slow soft purr of his groan. Where else could she kiss to make him emit that sound once more?

Soon the mouth of the rocky pass poured out into a field of enchanted flowers, pollen and petal flowing freely on the last of the spring breeze with their arrival to the Elven homeland.

Following the rows of pastels for half a day’s ride they reached the valley at the front mountain gates of Tiere. Archaic yellow stone with salt crystals and divine etchings worked with wrought iron, the city gate stood half the height of the mountains it rested between, far taller than any other Midgardian structure Aztrit had seen before.

Kirk shouted to Eric. "We are a day early. Escort everyone to the encampment. Let them know they can receive us tomorrow as planned. I will return later today." Eric nodded as he and the caravan diverted to the white tents in the distance.

Kirk eyed Aztrit atop her horse as she circled him. They had made their journey in one piece. "I want to show you something."

Aztrt smiled. "After you."

Kirk grinned and called Rúnar to sprint heading southward further into the valley as they raced to the horizon. Unspoken, a race began as they competed with each other, accelerating as they tested each other’s will. Ahead of her, Kirk glanced back. "You cannot keep up even on your beast, Valkyrie?"

Aztrit laughed as the wind whipped through her hair, puddles and flowers kicking up as Fora took her into the dawn. "I only wish to not emasculate you further!" She shouted with joy back at him as they climbed a hill above a dense area of trees facing east.

She breathed heavily as they stopped next to a lone yew tree, its spine twisted as it reached for the orange sky. They laughed together as their horses stirred at the top, facing the incoming yellow sun.

From up above, Aztrit could see the white Salt Mountains they just left with a pond at its base hidden by trees from below. The enclosure was breathtaking. Midgard had more wonders than she had ever considered.

Kirk took in the view with her as they watched the sunrise in silence. Its yellow glare peeked past the mountains, showering the night sky with welcoming light. His father had shown him this spot his first time visiting Vertan, and he wanted to give Aztrit the same experience. To see beauty in another land and prove that wonder and majesty belonged to no one and everyone.

He breathed the morning chill deeply into his lungs, and exhaled his fears. Their quiet companionship made him feel secure, and ready to open up to her as promised. "My Father was human, The King of Karth just as I am. My mother was divine as you are. As… I am. And, you were right–” His pale steele eyes looked at her from their corners.  “I'm older than I look.”

Aztrit laughed into the morning air. Her breath fogged, crisping the breeze in front of her. To hear his truth quelled the suspicion within her. The air was so rich with life here in this mortal land. "My Father is divine. My mother–a human from the Sun Lands. I have two brothers, although I used to have three. And my Father…he's…the most difficult man I've ever met in my life."

Kirk chuckled as the sun continued to rise. Their shared honesty was a kind gift after a long journey. Not all of their secrets would be revealed today, but these truths promised to be the start of something greater.

The sun continued rising through the mountains to the east. The mist rolled off the water and into the sparse tree line, the sun reflected off the water like a mirror, making it look as if the sun was emerging from the water line instead of the horizon. The pink and red hues danced across the body of water and reflected luxuriously into the sky.

Aztrit looked around not seeing Kirk after they parted at the bottom of the hill. She dismounted Fora and pulled soap from her satchel. She didn’t want to meet the elf king in her current state.

She walked through the trees where they had watched the sun rise to the pond where she could bathe in private. She stepped out of her dress and placed her feet into the warm water. The springs from the mountain filled the tub halfway. The warmth was welcoming.

After washing herself, she waded to the deeper side of the pond and swam to the edge of the grass. She held onto the long plants and let her body float gently upright. She closed her eyes, relishing the warm sun on her back as she thought about their long ride.

She hadn’t expected him to open back up to her, but she knew she had Fora to thank for it. No one could be angry around such beautiful animals. She was glad they were giving each other another chance, the pull inside her rejoiced when he smiled at her. She couldn’t wait to feel his touch again when they got to Vertan.

She hadn’t realised how deep in thought she was until familiar hands gripped her waist and pulled her close. Her heart stopped beating in her chest.

Kirk pressed her further into the ring of the pond, wrapping his arms around her body. He leaned down and whispered in her ear, “You shouldn’t bathe so openly Valkyrie.” His words made her spine tingle. He was just as naked as she was, but he could touch the bottom of the pond.

“Or maybe I should find a better spot where perverse men won't find me.” She heard him chuckle and blow his warm breath in her ear. He ran his hand up her front and palmed one of her breasts, just as he had in the garden. He gave it a gentle squeeze as he pressed his stiff member into her rear. She hadn’t expected him to still be here, but her body was excited that he was.

She had longed for him to touch her again.

“I’ve thought so much about you, Aztrit.” The weight in his chest was getting heavier every second, he didn’t know how much longer he could stand not being inside of her.

She turned to face him and opened her legs, and ensnared his waist so he could nestle in between her thighs. The sun illuminated the water dripping from his dark hair onto his cream skin. She placed her hands on his scarred chest and ran them over a wound going vertically down his torso. She wished she could have been there to heal every injury.

He shivered under her touch and pressed himself harder against her. His eyes openly displayed his desire for her. He dipped his head to kiss her wet lips. As they shared their pressure, he pried her lips open with his tongue. She enjoyed letting him lead, never had she given someone else control over her own pleasure.

She wrapped a hand around his length as he tasted her mouth. Kirk groaned harshly against her lips. He was so thick she couldn’t reach her hand all the way around him. She rubbed his swollen head gently and gave extra attention underneath, pumping him in full, slow motions. She continued stroking him as he began kissing her neck.

His tongue against her collarbone made her squirm against him. She had wanted to enjoy his body before they dove in, but she didn’t know if she could keep herself from him any longer.

The water from his hair rolled down her stiff nipples in the open mountain air. Kirk took one into his mouth and rolled it with his tongue. He had missed her delicious peaks. They had taunted him in his dreams. Her hands dug into his back as she moaned from the feel of his mouth.

He was too excited.

If she moaned again, he would lose his composure and take her before he could get her to beg for it.

She rolled her hips harder against him and cried out, “Please Kirk, I can’t wait anymore.”

He smiled against her and lifted to look into her eyes. “You’re ready to give yourself to me?”

His smile spurred her on more. His beautiful smirk made her ache deeply. “Please, take me.”

Kirk didn’t wait for her to finish her plea. Aztrit’s amber eyes begging was enough to convince him. He positioned himself at her slick entrance and pushed in. They moaned in unison. He held her hips still and thrusted slowly inside of her.

She opened her hips wider and accepted more of him. His warm, wet body pressed against her while he thrusted, making her body sing.

Aztrit bit her lip trying to keep herself quiet. Each stroke made her feel as if he was savouring how tightly her walls gripped him. She looked up at his face to find him focused on her, his eyes soft with love.

He deepened his strokes, admiring the faces she made as she panted. She was close to coming for him. She could feel it building in her thighs. She prayed she could hold out, wanting to feel this euphoria for as long as she could. “Kirk, please. Not yet.” She held on tighter feeling it build inside her.

He pulled out quickly as she requested. If she came around him, he would surely lose himself right with her. He spun her around until her back was against his and lifted her leg in the warm water. He placed himself inside her again and stilled. Tighter now, her wet core was lapping at his thickness for his cream.

“Gods, Kirk!” She cried out as he entered, his thick member within her fucking her fast, enjoying the way her ass bounced against his hips.

He suckled her neck as he laid claim to her body, unable to slow himself from enjoying the sweet area between her thighs. His Valkyrie temptress–teeming with might, holier than thou–was no more than a begging whore for him now. His patience had been rewarded.

His hardened cock within her and the satisfaction he felt from his aching chest added to the pleasure of it all. Kirk had wanted to savour their first time, but he could only feel the raging need he had for her.

Aztrit held onto the long grass as his hips met hers again and again. His hand in her hair, tilting her head up and back to look him in the eyes as he took her from behind.

Green blades poked between her brown fingers while he hit right where she couldn’t stand it. She could feel her pleasure building again. The water added to her excitement, enveloping her body as gentle waves hit her rear from their love making.

He reached up and grasped the ends of her wet curls, forcing her to take him deeper. Her eyes bore tears as she screamed from his efforts. Her thighs were on fire, she couldn’t stop her cries.

She sang his name in a long low note with every thrust he gave her as he prolonged her orgasm; waves hitting her deeply. The pull in her stomach fluttered away as she came down.

Kirk bellowed as she gripped and suckled him, the electricity he felt from her wet womanhood was more than he hoped as his name passed her lips for the final time, and emptied himself inside of her. He held onto her body tightly as he leaned on her, careful not to burden her with his weight.

They both breathed heavily, pressed together as they basked in the pleasure they had received. He kissed her shoulders and took her earlobe in between his teeth. “My beautiful Valkyrie. You took me well.” He whispered to her as he removed himself. He turned her face to him and kissed her swollen lips.

The bliss between them was a tangible peacefulness they had not yet known. They sat this way, trading kisses for much longer, not willing to end the moment they had finally come together under the blessing of the sun.
